Former Head of TSA David M. Stone Joins Vidient Systems' Advisory Board

As Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for TSA, He Oversaw Security for Entire U.S. Transportation System

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 30, 2005 -- The former Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), David M. Stone, has joined the Board of Advisors of Vidient Systems, Inc., the video surveillance software company announced today.

A recognized global security expert, Admiral Stone has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the national and homeland security arena, most recently serving for 18 months as head of the TSA, a position in which he was appointed by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. In this position, he was responsible for the security of the U.S. Transportation System, which encompasses the mass transit, rail, highway, pipeline, maritime and aviation modes of transportation across the country.
