Former Microsoft and Expedia Executive, Bill Bliss, Joins Klir Technologies as Chief Technology Officer

Company Also Appoints Former Apple and Microsoft Executives to Their Advisory Board

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 11, 2007 -- Klir Technologies, the first company to offer a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution for IT monitoring, analytics and reporting, today announced the appointment of Bill Bliss as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The company also announced the addition of Philippe Bouissou and Gordon Mangione to their Advisory Board.

Coming off a strong fourth quarter where over 4,000 IT professionals registered for their free entry-level IT solution called Klir Analytics, the Company sees an incredible market opportunity to upsell an enterprise solution that is easier to acquire, use and manage than traditional client-server applications.

"One of our primary goals is to deliver an enterprise solution that is as easy and intuitive to use as any consumer application used on the web today," said James Maiocco, CEO of Klir Technologies. "With Bill's leadership, experience and vision, we are focused on delivering the features and functionality that our customers are seeking, in combination with better usability and the latest technologies available."

Bliss, who led technology teams at Microsoft and Expedia before joining Klir, will be responsible for design and development of Klir products, systems and architecture, including all aspects of engineering and product evolution.

"Having known and worked with Bill in the earlier years at Microsoft on the initial design and development of Outlook, I know we are getting a first rate technology leader with fantastic experience," added Richard Fade, Klir Board member and Venture Partner at Ignition Partners. "We could not be more pleased to be bringing Bill's vision and leadership to Klir."

"What drew me to Klir was the vision for delivering an easy to use solution with incredible power," said Bliss. "Klir's platform and approach has put them in a position to bring together all types of information that empower IT professionals to do their jobs better. I look forward to leading Klir's product development efforts and expanding the underlying product available today."

In addition to Bliss, the company also announced that they have added two industry veterans, Philippe Bouissou and Gordon Mangione, to their Advisory Board in order to take advantage of their experience and contacts. Bouissou brings former experience as founder of Apple's Worldwide Internet Commerce Group, and recent activity as a venture capitalist at IDG Ventures, Ventech and Allegis Capital. Gordon recently joined XenSource as SVP of Product Operations, and spent 15 years prior at Microsoft in several strategic roles, including corporate vice president of both the SQL Sever and Exchange teams. "Philippe and Gordon bring strategic experience to our team from companies that are known for both leading technology and simple consumer usability, and we look forward to tapping into these experiences for our own success," added Maiocco.
