Former NFL Team Senior Executive Joins MOKO Social Media

New COO Shripal Shah to Help the Global Brand Continue Transforming the Social Media Landscape

WASHINGTON, D.C.--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2015) -  MOKO Social Media (NASDAQ: MOKO) is proud to announce the hiring of Shripal Shah as Chief Operating Officer. Shah joins MOKO after most recently being with the Washington Redskins as their Chief Strategy Officer, where he was tasked with maximizing the team's strategic and business prospects and overseeing the organization's marketing strategy and digital and social media platforms.

"As a premier multimedia platform for some of the most influential consumers in politics, colleges, sports and fitness, MOKO is absolutely thrilled to welcome Shripal Shah to our team," MOKO CEO Ian Rodwell said to shareholders earlier in the day. "He brings tremendous experience and insight into all the new and different ways that American consumers use online platforms and how we can tailor content in a way that better serves their interests."

Shah has more than 16 years of experience in digital strategy, development and execution. Prior to the Redskins, he was with Catalyst Public Relations where he was the social media architect of multiple award-winning digital marketing programs. He has also held stints at several web development agencies, developing strategies for Kenneth Cole, Seagram's, Bank of New York, and Morgan Stanley, among others.

"I'm so excited to be at the forefront of such a diversified and innovative endeavor," Shah said. "MOKO has become one of the hottest properties in the social media landscape. I'm impressed by how each unique brand has really transformed the way different users consume and share specialized content across devices -- I believe we're ready to take things to the next level."

MOKO's mobile app REC*IT provides information about campus sports and recreational activities and Bluenationreview.com (BNR) is quickly becoming the source for snarky, sassy and trusted progressive commentary. The company is also set to launch a new non-partisan political app called Voycit, as well as the RunHaven app for recreational runners.

MOKO Social Media Limited provides large user groups with tailored mobile applications offering information relevant to their common interests. These are developed entirely by MOKO and then distributed at no charge to these groups and their members, in return for exclusive access and advertising rights.
