Former Philadelphia Eagles Star Keith Byars Named President of iBidMotors Pennsylvania

Byars to Market Online Auction Sites to Car Dealers in Pennsylvania, Joins Other NFL Players and Athletes

PRINCETON, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2006 -- iBidMotors, a leading provider of online auction sites to car dealers, announced that Keith Byars has joined as president of iBidMotors Pennsylvania.

iBidMotors enables car dealers to sell pre-owned cars, trucks, parts and accessories on an online auction. The big difference between iBidMotors and other online auction sites is that each car dealer has their own dedicated auction site that is branded with their name and logo and can showcase their entire inventory for a flat monthly fee. Since the auction sites are sold to local car dealers, the consumer can visit the dealer's showroom and test drive the car. This is a tremendous advantage over other auction sites where consumers bid and buy blind.

"I'm very excited to join iBidMotors," said Byars. "We have a very unique value proposition for car dealers to sell pre-owned cars using an auction format. In today's market, car dealers are looking for creative ways to sell more cars. This is a fantastic opportunity as a second career for a former NFL player."

Keith joins other former professional athletes including Howard Cross and Brad Van Pelt of the NY Giants, Charley Harraway of the Washington Redskins, Donny Marshall of the NJ Nets, Dave Mobley of the PGA, and Kurt Bevaqua of the San Diego Padres. "We are delighted that Keith has joined our team," said Brian Kelley, President of iBidMotors and ten-year veteran of the NY Giants.

As a professional football player, Byars played fullback for the Philadelphia Eagles (1986-1992), Miami Dolphins (1993-1996), New England Patriots (1996-1997), and the New York Jets (1998). Byars was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1993. A superb rusher, blocker, and pass receiver, Byars was a vital contributor for every team he played on. In 1988 he rushed for 517 yards, recorded 71 receptions (ranking him 9th in the NFL), and scored 10 touchdowns. He is also the only back in NFL history to record a reception in 100 or more straight games. Byars is currently a pre- and post-game radio analyst for Ohio State University football games. He is also a television analyst for "New York Football Weekly" and "This Week in Football" on the YES Network.
