Former SEC Chairman Christopher Cox Joins Extraordinary Speaker Lineup for ACG Los Angeles Annual Business Conference

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2009) - Christopher Cox, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2005 until the start of President Obama's term, will speak on the regulatory challenges facing the SEC and Wall Street at the 2009 ACG Los Angeles Business Conference, to be held September 15 and 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Other keynote speakers at the ACG LA Conference will include Paul Volcker, Chairman of President Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board and former Chairman of the Federal Reserve System, and Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009.

Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, Ticketmaster President Eric Korman and activist investor William Ackman, CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, will also address the conference.

Mr. Cox, previously a Republican Congressman from California, was appointed by President George W. Bush and oversaw the SEC during one of the most turbulent periods in its history. He is now a Partner with the law firm Bingham McCutcheon LLP.

More than 100 leading private equity firms, banks and other sources of corporate finance will participate in the Capital Connection event on the first day of the two-day Conference.

The rest of the program includes keynote speeches by globally renowned figures from government and the business world, technical sessions and workshops on finance and corporate growth, and informal networking opportunities.
