Former Tri-Association Executive Launches Innovative Teacher Recruitment Service

Partnership With International Teacher Association Opens Doors to U.S. Teachers and International Schools

OREM, UT--(Marketwire - November 29, 2010) - Dr. Barry McCombs, former executive member of the Tri-Association, an association of the American schools of Central America, Columbia-Caribbean and Mexico, today launched The International Educator Society (TIES). TIES is an innovative teacher recruitment service designed to connect U.S.-based teachers with international private schools seeking to hire English speaking instructors.

TIES will serve as a link between qualified U.S. teachers and top-rated international schools, including the Tri-Association's premier network of international private schools.

Through TIES proprietary system, applicants create an individual profile and resume that will be viewed by administrators and recruiters from international schools. TIES evaluates potential applicants, based on criteria and preference outlined by the candidate and the schools, and matches the teacher to a school that is the best fit.

"We have a unique capability to match a teaching candidate to an appropriate and compatible school," said Dr. Barry McCombs, Founder and President, TIES. "We carefully consider candidates' preferences, teaching styles and experience in tandem with school and student needs to ensure the best fit for all involved. We work closely with premier institutions to provide a successful placement for the teachers, students and school."

In addition to offering international teaching opportunities throughout Central and South America, TIES is involved in several philanthropic initiatives designed to bring education to children and communities in developing countries. TIES actively supports the Children of Haiti Project, a coalition dedicated to implementing a comprehensive educational program and education center for children in poverty in Haiti, many of whom were receiving no schooling even before the earthquake.

By offering an innovative avenue to bring English education to the international community, TIES provides the platform for U.S. educators to network with established, accredited and philanthropic international schools. About TIES
The International Educators Society is an organization that facilitates relationships between teachers, administrators and international schools. Through a process similar to online dating, TIES matches teachers to schools based on their interests and abilities. The organization houses a database where resumes may be submitted and viewed by a number of international schools offering opportunities to teach English in another country, as well as participate in humanitarian efforts.
