FormFactor Names Dr. Chenming Hu to Its Board of Directors


LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FORM) today announced the appointment of Dr. Chenming Hu to the company's board of directors. Dr. Hu's long experience in semiconductor manufacturing further strengthens the board's technology expertise.

Dr. Chenming Calvin Hu is the TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor of Microelectronics in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He has served as the chief technology officer of TSMC, the world's largest dedicated integrated circuits foundry. In addition, Dr. Hu was the founding chairman of Celestry Design Technologies, acquired by Cadence Design Systems and was the board chairman of the non-profit East Bay Chinese School, Oakland, CA. He holds three degrees in electrical engineering: a B.S. from the National Taiwan University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from UC, Berkeley.
