Forsys Begins Pre-feasibility at Valencia Uranium Property

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 16, 2005) - Forsys Metals Corp (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:FSY) is pleased to announce the commencement of pre-feasibility study on the Valencia Uranium Project in Namibia, Africa.

Project Highlights:

- Deposit located 35 km along geological strike to Rossing (Rio Tinto Group) and 40 km north of Langer Heinrich (Paladin Resources)

- Snowden recently completed a NI 43-101 and "considers that the Valencia Project represents an advanced staged uranium project that has potential for development as an economically viable mining operation"

- Deposit remains open

One drill rig is on site and a second rig is on route to undertake a minimum 3000-metre program of in-fill drilling, limited verification twinning and resource expansion. This program is designed to upgrade the existing uranium resource. The drilling program expands on the recommendations outlined in the Project 43-101 Technical Report recently approved by the TSX (refer to November 2, 2005 press release).

The Company's Exploration Manager, Rick Bonner, P.Geol, is the designated qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
