Fort Collins Club Now Offering Additional Group Fitness Classes

FORT COLLINS, CO--(Marketwire - Oct 2, 2012) - Fort Collins Club, a leading northern Colorado gym, is pleased to announce that it will begin offering additional group fitness classes beginning this fall. The new schedule includes more times for Spin, Pilates, Group Power, and Yoga, as well as an array of entirely new classes and routines.

Starting in October, Fort Collins Club members will have the choice to enroll in two different Group Power classes on Saturdays. The 9:45am class will continue to operate as scheduled while a 12:15pm class will become available. The power classes are each lead by a two-person personal trainer team. Group Power is a class for all ages that focuses on strengthening all of the major muscle groups by use of barbells and simple athletic movements. Both classes are set to begin a new launch cycle on October 12th.

In addition, the club is also offering a new Women on Weights (W.O.W.) group fitness class. W.O.W is a resistance-training program catered specifically for women, and lasts approximately six weeks. The program is taught by a variety of the personal trainer staff available at Fort Collins Club, and is broken down into three separate lifting routines, ranging from beginner to intermediate and advanced. The program is meant to be both challenging and fun, and will last from October 9th-November 14th. The enrollment cost is $10 and space is limited, those who are interested should inquire for more information at the Fort Collins Club front desk.

Fort Collins Club is also offering a HoopDance Fitness class for all ages. HoopDance is fun, low-impact and high cardio workout meant to strengthen the core and tone the extremities by exploring the boundaries of dance through use of a hula-hoop. HoopDance has become a northern Colorado phenomenon over the past year, as kids and adults alike have found that it can be a fun and alternative workout. Hoop-dance fitness classes are led by a personal trainer with experience in hoop-dance. Participants can bring their own hula-hoops or use ones provided by the class.
