FORT COLLINS, CO--(Marketwire - Jan 16, 2013) - The turning of New Year is as good a time as any to get into shape. Northern Colorado's Fort Collins Club realizes this and is implementing a number of different classes into it catalog, including the fitness program Women on Weights.
One such class is the Women on Weights Winter Session. The class runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays from January 29 through March 6. Cost is just $10 per participant. There is a mandatory meeting for those interested on either January 29 at 6:30 p.m. or January 30 at 6:30 p.m.
"We expect this to be a popular class," Fort Collins Club owner Todd Heenan said. "All of our classes have done pretty well, but we're always looking to re-program the classes that are a big success. Classes are really popular at this time of year because a lot of people want to try out new things. It's a great way to get into shape and meet people."
More than just a gym, Fort Collins Club offers something for everyone. The Fort Collins staple has been open for 28 years. It is a full-service gym that also features a salon and spa, a kids club as well as a gallery where you can grab a bite to eat or even have a post-workout beer.
"We've always considered ourselves to be something more than just a gym," Heenan said. "A lot of our members are good friends so it is a very family-oriented place. The kids club and childcare facilities are the best around. I think that our family focus is best and most unique aspect of our club."
Fort Collins Club also features an outdoor pool, beach volleyball court, indoor pool, basketball, racquetball, handball and squash courts, 35-foot climbing wall, arcade room, yoga room, kids club and a childcare facility.
