ForteCEO Group Selects Michael K. Lorelli to Join Its Team of Senior Interim Executives


CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 20, 2007 -- ForteCEO Group (ForteCEO), a leading provider of interim senior executives to meet the needs of privately owned companies, announced today the appointment of Michael K. Lorelli to its team of more than 200 executives. Mr. Lorelli is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience building both large and small companies. As a ForteCEO operating executive, he will be assigned to work with companies matching his functional and industry areas of expertise to help business owners build value, manage rapid growth or overcome challenges.

Prior to ForteCEO, Mr. Lorelli spent the last 12 years leading private equity backed companies specializing in growth, revitalization and turnarounds. His most recent engagement was with Latex International, Inc., where he spent three years and also served as president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors. Latex International, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of Talalay latex mattress components and latex foam pillows in North America.

Mr. Lorelli's other private equity experience includes Equality Specialties, Inc., president, CEO and a member of the board of directors, 2003; Strategic Optical Holdings, Inc., president, CEO and a member of the board of directors, 2001-2002; Air Express International, Inc., vice president and chief development officer, 1999-2000; Bryant Partners LLC, partner, 1997-1999; and Tambrands, Inc., president - Americas, 1994-1996.

Prior to working as a private equity consultant, Mr. Lorelli spent 20 years in various leadership roles at Fortune 100 companies including PepsiCo, Inc., Esmark, Inc. and Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. During his nine years with PepsiCo, Inc., Mr. Lorelli held four positions of increasing responsibility, beginning with his position as senior vice president of marketing, then executive vice president of Pepsi-Cola North America, and moving to president of Pepsi-Cola East and culminating with a position as president of Pizza Hut International. During his two years as president of Pizza Hut International, Mr. Lorelli directed the division's growth strategy and successfully increased Pizza Hut's presence from 68 to 92 countries, surpassing McDonalds.

Mr. Lorelli resides in Darien, Conn. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from New York University's School of Engineering and Science.
