Fortified Holdings NOMAD Platform Readied for Deployment

NOMAD Platform Available for Use Should Gulf Coast Tropical Storm Advisory Worsen

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - September 21, 2007) - Fortified Holdings Corp. (OTCBB: FFDH) ("Fortified Holdings" or the "Company") advises that the Federal Emergency Management Agency ("FEMA") and the National Hurricane Center ("NHC") have both publicly released a "large storm" advisory for the Gulf Coast region within the past 24 hours.

Fortified Holdings, through its subsidiary, Fortified Data Communications Corp. (www.fortifieddatacom.com), is grateful to have the opportunity to participate with FEMA and other emergency organizations should the predictions for this year's hurricane season prove out.

To aid and combat exactly this type of situation, Fortified designs and manufactures the NOMAD man-portable, battery powered, command, control, communications and computer (C4) network platform that FEMA has recently deployed across seven of the ten regional operations centers across the country.

The NHC has advised on its website that as of 10am, September 21st, a tropical storm warning is in effect from Apalachicola, Florida westward to the mouth of the Mississippi River including New Orleans and Lake Pontchartrain. A tropical storm warning means that storm conditions are expected within the warning area within the next 24 hours and advises the public along the North Gulf Coast to closely monitor the storm's progress. Additionally, isolated tornadoes are possible over southwestern Georgia, the Florida Panhandle and southeastern Alabama through tonight.

Given the time of year and current conditions, various government agencies are acting proactively in a myriad of ways. This includes the planned deployment of NOMAD which provides emergency workers with the ability to make phone calls, hold video teleconferences, access remote data and to take command of challenging situations, especially during extreme conditions when normal infrastructure no longer operates.

The system combines satellite connectivity with integrated mobile mesh technology that instantly creates a self-healing, ad-hoc mesh network capable of providing up to 10 to 54Mbps of network bandwidth over vast geographic areas spanning incident specific locations, entire cities and beyond.

Unlike other products capable of supporting a single user, Fortified's product line can support hundreds of users over large geographic regions which has led FEMA and many other mission-critical users to specify NOMAD for emergency communications solutions.

Fortified is in the business of delivering situational awareness, connectivity, critical data management, command and control when and where it's needed most. We support the efforts of our fellow citizens who put themselves in harm's way and call it a job. In this hurricane season of 2007, we hope our efforts will make a profound difference in the way the job gets done.
