Fortress Announces Voting Results for the Election of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 16, 2014) - Fortress Paper Ltd. ("Fortress Paper" or the "Company") (TSX:FTP) announces that the following five directors were elected at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders of the Company held on June 13, 2014 (the "Meeting"):

In addition, at the Meeting shareholders approved: (i) the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants as auditors of the Corporation for the ensuing year; and (ii) the adoption of an advance notice policy.

A total of 10,263,850 common shares of the Company were voted at the Meeting, representing 70.37% of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares. A formal report of voting results with respect to all matters voted upon at the Meeting is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.
