VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 24, 2011) - Fortress Minerals Corp. ("Fortress" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:FST) announces the appointment of Mr. Peter Chow as Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective May 24, 2011. Mr. Chow replaces Mr. Ryan Torvik who has resigned to pursue other endeavours.
Peter is a member of the Certified Management Accountants of BC, and holds a BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a DipT in Professional Accounting from British Columbia Institute of Technology. He has over 10 years of industry and public practice financial management experience in accounting, audits, tax compliance and financial reporting. Peter joined Fortress as Controller in 2007 and has had an integral role in a number of Lundin Group of Companies over the years.
