Fortress Technologies Appoints Kevin Carroll to Company Board of Directors

LANSDOWNE, VA--(Marketwire - September 9, 2008) - Fortress Technologies, a leading provider of
secure wireless solutions, today announced that it has appointed Kevin
Carroll to its Board of Directors. Mr. Carroll was the Program Executive
Officer for the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office Enterprise Information
System (PEO EIS), and will be a strong addition to Fortress' already
impressive Board of Directors.

As PEO EIS, Mr. Carroll was responsible for the program management of
critical DoD and Army business/combat service support systems, as well as
providing key communication and computer infrastructure to the DoD. He
was responsible for programs that obligated over $2.5 billion annually.
Prior to becoming PEO EIS, Mr. Carroll served as PEO of the Standard Army
Management Information System (STAMIS) and before that was the Assistant
Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition, U.S. Army
Materiel Command.
