FORTRUST Announces Contract With Douglas County Libraries

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Jun 26, 2014) - FORTRUST, the Rocky Mountain Region's most progressive data center and colocation services provider, today announced that they have been awarded a contract with Douglas County Libraries, to provide colocation data center services.

Douglas County Libraries have been utilizing IaaS Cloud services from Peak (formerly PeakColo) since 2011. When Peak moved their IaaS Cloud to FORTRUST, Douglas County Libraries chose to relocate to FORTRUST as well to stay in close proximity to Peak and to take advantage of FORTRUST's 100% critical systems uptime data center environment. As part of the agreement, FORTRUST will provide Douglas County Libraries with raised floor space at their data center in Denver, Colorado.

Data center migrations can be a complex, expensive ordeal, so we worked with Douglas County Libraries and Peak to come up with a cost effective solution that provides them with the space they need. Monique Sendze, Associate Director of Information Technology at Douglas County Libraries, states, "FORTRUST has been instrumental in making the move as painless as possible. Even with our budget in mind, they have created an environment perfectly suited to our requirements now and in the future."

FORTRUST Senior Vice President of Sales, David Shepard, added, "Unfortunately, many data centers aren't in it for the long haul and can shut down unexpectedly, leaving their Cloud Service Provider partners and their clients high and dry. FORTRUST is a financially sound data center with long standing management. Like our partners, we only have plans to grow. We look forward to building and keeping a longstanding partnership with Douglas County Libraries."

FORTRUST is the most progressive high-availability data center services provider in North America offering services in Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; and Edison, New Jersey. FORTRUST offers agile, reliable, sustainable and secure raised floor or modular data center capacity for any-size enterprise supported by optimal power infrastructure and connectivity to safeguard mission-critical business services. Leading companies choose FORTRUST to gain a trusted partner who will preserve and protect their IT infrastructure as well as serve as an essential extension of their operations.
