FORTRUST's Vice President Rob McClary to Provide Keynote Presentation at Uptime Institute Symposium May 16th

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - May 8, 2013) - FORTRUST, the Rocky Mountain Region's premium data center and colocation services provider, announced that their Vice President Rob McClary will be providing a keynote presentation next Thursday, May 16th at the Uptime Institute Symposium in Santa Clara, California. The Symposium is an annual data center event that brings critical industry trends to the attention of IT Executives, Data Center Managers and Operators and Data Center Planners, Designers and Engineers. The theme of this year's Symposium is the "Global Digital Infrastructure Evolution" which aligns nicely with FORTRUST's own progression in data center design and deployment. Mr. McClary's presentation, "Adopting a Modular Approach to Data Center Design, Construction, and Delivery - Evolving the Traditional Paradigm" will provide key details that enabled a shift in FORTRUST's design and construction methodology that ultimately led to their adoption of a modular approach.

Mr. McClary has been with FORTRUST since they first opened for operations in 2001 and has witnessed first-hand the evolution of the data center industry. The FORTRUST data center was originally designed as a traditional raised floor multi-tenant data center and in the past year, adopted new modular technology through a partnership with IO, deploying their IO.Anywhere® data modules in the FORTRUST Denver Data Center. Mr. McClary will speak to the paradigm shift FORTRUST underwent as they evolved from a traditional raised floor design to a more modular approach to design and capacity delivery with the deployment of the data modules.

As McClary states, "This is a process that we have been immersed in since we first opened for operations and will continue to do so as the industry progresses. For the past 11 years we have constantly tried to improve our data center design to optimize operations and the IT end-user experience. I look forward to sharing with the Symposium attendees the process which FORTRUST undertook."

Mr. McClary will present from 9:30am-10:15am in the Mission City Ballroom at the Santa Clara Convention Center Convention Center next Thursday, May 16th. FORTRUST is a Diamond Sponsor and will be exhibiting at booth #102.
