Forum Uranium Commences Airborne Geophysical Survey Over Beach Zone

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 26, 2006) - Forum Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FDC) is pleased to announce that it has commenced an aerial VTEM time-domain electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical survey over the Beach and West Beach Zones on the Maurice Point Project located in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan. The survey comprising approximately 500 line kilometres (km) with line spacing of 200 metres (m) will be conducted by Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario.

The helicopter-borne magnetic and electromagnetic survey data will assist in the identification of conductive horizons suggestive of graphitic zones which are frequently associated with prospective basement faults. Detailed mapping and prospecting this summer defined a northeast trending regional structure with northwest, east-west and north-northwest cross structures that control widespread uranium mineralization, which seem to be associated with graphitic rocks at the Uranium Ridge, Beach and West Beach zones in the McKenzie Point area. The current VTEM survey is expected to provide additional drill targets in the area. It is interpreted that the Maurice Bay deposit and the uranium occurrences at McKenzie Point are influenced by this strong northeast regional structural trend.

Forum also announces that Condor Consulting Inc. has been engaged to reprocess data from a 2005 GEOTEM survey of the Maurice Point Project area.

Phil Robertshaw, P.Geo. (Saskatchewan), Forum's Geophysical Consultant is supervising the survey and has reviewed the contents of this news release.
