Founder of Legendary Al's Beef and Nancy's Pizza Announces New Fast Casual Pizzeria Concept, doughocracy Pizza + Brews

New Franchise Founded on the Principle of "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Pizza"

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Sep 29, 2015) - Chicago Franchise Systems, parent company of Al's Italian Beef and Nancy's Pizza, announced today that it will launch an entirely new fast casual pizza franchise with its first locations opening in Illinois and Missouri in late October/early November. Offering eat-in and take-out, the new concept called doughocracy Pizza + Brews is a unique build-your-own pizza restaurant where "life, liberty and the pursuit of pizza" is its founding principal.

At doughocracy Pizza + Brews, each order begins with a 12-inch pie of handmade, hand-stretched dough prepared fresh onsite daily. Customers have the freedom to select one of 10 signature pies or build their own. With freshly made pizza sauces and more than 30 delicious toppings to choose from, everyone has the freedom to build their own pie to their liking. The pizza is then put in a high-powered, high temp, high tech double deck oven, which cooks the pizza in 3 minutes. 

In addition to pizza, doughocracy Pizza + Brews offers fresh salads and desserts, including its delicious Gooey Butter Cake and signature Nutella® Bomb. On the beverage front, doughocracy Pizza + Brews will offer the Pepsi Spire machine with hundreds of drink options, along with multiple locally-brewed craft beers on tap.
