Fountain Experts Solve Broad Range of Problems; Free Through September

Connect to Experts Ranging From Celeb Stylists to NCAA Docs, Valley Insiders to Veterinarians in About a Minute

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2015) - Fountain.com today launches support across dozens of new categories, allowing people to connect directly with experts whenever and however they need them. In about 60 seconds, Fountain connects people to experts from accountants and beauticians, to tutors and veterinarians, or any number of other professionals with in-app text messaging, calls or video (like Skype/FaceTime). Any question can be answered by a real human, 24/7.

To celebrate its launch from beta, Fountain is free through September; in October, customers can expect to pay between $6.99 and $11.99, depending on the type of consultation.

Since launching a Home & Garden trial in March, Fountain has successfully fielded thousands of consumer questions with home pros like architects, interior designers, and repair specialists. Today, by expanding to chefs and counselors; nutritionists and nurses; stylists and startup advisors and dozens of other professional, Fountain is ready to answer whatever question needs an answer -- with live, expert help.

"It's simple. Ask any question in plain English, and our algorithms match you to the 10 best experts, based on the relevance of their skills, their rating, location, and response time," says Fountain CEO and Co-Founder Aaron Patzer. "Because we contact multiple experts simultaneously, you get an answer quickly, often connecting in under 60 seconds. Our goal is to deliver any service that can be performed remotely, all at the push of a button."

Fountain experts are carefully screened and interviewed using Fountain's own video call technology. They include stylists featured on E!, gardeners from HGTV, and sports doctors for NCAA teams. Top experts are already making more than $1,000 each week helping people solve tricky problems across the globe.

"One of the most popular categories today is pet help. It turns out it's just much easier to text-message a vet with questions about your dog after after-hours or in the middle of your day," continued Patzer. "Share a few photos, escalate to a video call to show what's wrong, and you're done in 10 minutes. It's a great example of how we save people time and money while also creating incremental revenue for pros during down time."

Other popular categories during the trial period include ask-a-mechanic, dating advice, health questions and home improvement.
