HORSESHOE, NC--(Marketwired - Apr 24, 2014) - Four Circles Recovery Center, an innovative, state-of-the-art addiction, substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders treatment program for young adults ages 18-28, has announced that Christy L. Cook, LPC, NCC, BCETS, will join their team as Clinical Director on May 5th, 2014.
Christy holds a Master's degree in Professional and Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She also has her BCETS certification (Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress). She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Professional Member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation and Professional member of National Center for Crisis Management.
Prior to coming on board with Four Circles Recovery Center, Christy served as a Primary Therapist and Young Adult Specialist, as well as various other roles, at Foundations Recovery Network Atlanta for five years. Christy's clinical specialties include addiction, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm behaviors, grief & loss, spiritual exploration, eating disorders, and human sexuality.
Holding a strong passion for working with the young adult population, Christy was eager to become a part of the Four Circles Recovery Center family. "We are thrilled to have Christy join our team.
