Four Companies Honoured for Excellence, Global Vision at the 2011 Canadian Innovation Awards

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - Four of the country's leading manufacturers were honoured this week for their dedication to excellence and pursuit of global success at the 2011 Canadian Innovation Awards in Ottawa.

Ontario-based Celestica, global leader in the delivery of innovative supply chain solutions, took home the top accolade as Zurich's Canadian Manufacturer of the Year. The company employs 35,000 employees at 15 facilities worldwide, and provides supply chain solutions that include design, engineering services, manufacturing, fulfillment and aftermarket services across a multitude of sectors.

The awards were presented at a luncheon held in conjunction with CME's Business2Business Forum, June 14. Other recipients include:

  • NRC/IRAP's Innovative New Technology Award – Cavet Technologies

  • Business Takes Action Innovator of the Year Award – Dolphin Digital Technologies
