Four Vines Winery Announces Casting Call for "Zin Bitches"; Casting to Be Held at ZAP Festival in San Francisco

PASO ROBLES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 24, 2007 -- Four Vines Winery, makers of traditional and eclectic wines, will pour its seductive and arousing zinfandels at the 16th annual ZAP Zinfandel Festival in San Francisco, January 24 - 27.

ZAP is an internationally recognized series of tastings which are the premier single-varietal events in the world. With an estimated 300 wineries and over 10,000 attendees, ZAP is traditionally a sell-out.

Four Vines will add to the chaos with its most popular Zins.

The 2004 Sonoma "Sophisticate" expresses the elegant side of Zinfandel. With a sexy nose offering velvet, vanilla oak tones, followed by rich, spicy berry fruit and a hint of cedar. Big flavors, yet refined and stylish.

The 04 "Maverick" is a well-dressed, ruckus country brawler of surprising style and grace from the old vine vineyards in Shenendoah Valley. Blended with a touch of Syrah from the Bailey Vineyard, the result is a chewy and spicy wine, rich with blackberry fruit and a hint of velvet vanilla oak.

The 04 "Biker" came from the West Side of Paso Robles with a vengeance. The Biker has blackberry, anise spice and vanilla on the nose. Rich, black fruit and spice, long in the mouth lingering to a silky vanilla oak finish. A splash of Mourvedre lends an extra kick in the mid-palate.

The 04 "Dusi Paso Zin" evokes bright bramble fruit and ripe raspberry on the nose. The palate is complex, with wild berry, black berry fruit and spice, which then slips into a smooth vanilla oak finish.

The 02 "Zin/Syrah Port" is a lush and decadent wine with a burst of red raspberry and spice on the nose. Layers of rich, raspberry fruit, spice, and anise are followed by a long rich finish of mocha, caramel and silky vanilla oak.
