Fourth Annual North American Candidate Experience Awards Now Open

Talent Board Announces Registration for 2014 Employer Survey; This Year's Program Set to Identify Best Practices in Candidate Experience

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 10, 2014) - Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and elevation of the candidate experience, today announced that registration for the 2014 Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards is now open.

The CandE Awards is an annual benchmarking and recognition program designed to acknowledge employers that meet, and exceed, the standard set for candidate experience excellence. The competition and benchmarking program works to assess current recruiting practices, in order to identify and celebrate those outstanding strategies that provide job candidates with a consistent and positive experience. Companies headquartered in North America can begin the confidential and complimentary registration process at: http://bit.ly/2014CandEApply.

"As we enter the fourth year of the CandE Awards, there is so much that can be said about the power of positive candidate experience," said Gerry Crispin, Talent Board co-founder and Chief Navigator of CareerXroads. "We are excited to invite employers of all sizes and across all industries to participate in the 2014 North American program, and are eager to honor those companies that understand the impact -- for their organization, brand, jobseekers and the recruiting industry -- of providing a positive experience throughout the talent acquisition process."

Since its inception in 2011, the CandE Awards have grown significantly, from 24 winners to recognize 64 organizations in the 2013 North American program. The competition consists of three survey rounds designed to evaluate and validate companies' talent acquisition practices. Round One is a multi-dimensional survey consisting of approximately 60 questions about corporate applicant processes and practices that deliver the candidate experience. North American employers that register now will receive a unique link to complete the survey beginning on March 3, 2014.

All employer participants will receive access to Employer Benchmark data. Companies that meet criteria for Rounds One and Two (which consists of a candidate survey) will be recognized as CandE Award winners. Companies with interesting and unique practices will be advanced to the final round and interviewed by the CandE Awards judging panel to determine areas of distinction. With Distinction honorees will be celebrated, along with all CandE Award winners, at a Gala Reception on September 18, 2014 in Chicago.

Brad Cook, Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition, Informatica, and a previous CandE Award winner, commented, "We look forward to participating in the 2014 CandE Awards program again this year. The benchmark data and feedback we have received is invaluable and helps us to further improve our candidate experience and recruiting efforts. Plus, it's not only an honor to be recognized as a CandE Award winner; it helps support our strong employment brand and attract the right talent."
