Fox, Abel Named to TierPoint Leadership Team

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2016) - TierPoint LLC, a leading national provider of hybrid IT solutions, announced today the appointments of Jim Fox and Pete Abel to the company's leadership team.

Jim Fox will join TierPoint next month as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, reporting to Meduski. Most recently, Fox had the same position with Suddenlink Communications, a mid-sized U.S. cable operator, where he also reported to Meduski prior to the sale of that company in December 2015. Before Suddenlink, Fox was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Business Operations, for Mobile Armor, Inc., a technology company that specialized in enterprise data security solutions for government and commercial enterprises before being sold to Trend Micro. Fox has also held leadership positions at DataServ LLC and Reuters Group PLC. He started his career with Deloitte.

Fox will replace Bob DeSantis, who is leaving TierPoint on June 30 to focus on broader financial leadership opportunities. DeSantis joined TierPoint in 2014, when the company acquired Xand, where he was CFO. "Since joining the team, Bob has provided invaluable support and guidance," Meduski said. Pete Abel has joined TierPoint in the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications, also reporting to Meduski. Abel holds the same title with Cequel III, TierPoint's management company. Previously, Abel was Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications for Suddenlink, before which he supported Cequel III across a number of businesses.

Prior to his involvement with Cequel III and Suddenlink, Abel was a Senior Vice President and Senior Partner at FleishmanHillard, where he led teams of up to 30 individuals on marketing communications and other projects for a diverse range of organizations, including Procter & Gamble, Monsanto, Anheuser-Busch (now Anheuser-Busch InBev), SBC Communications (now AT&T), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
