FoxT and CrossIdeas Partnership Enables Seamless Identity Access Governance and Enforcement

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 13, 2013) - Fox Technologies (FoxT) Inc, a leading provider of Access Management and Enforcement software solutions, today announced a partnership with CrossIdeas, an industry leader in Identity Access Governance.

FoxT's Access Management solution suite enables organizations to proactively enforce and audit granular access policies for privileged users accessing servers and end users accessing applications and desktops. These access policies include who is allowed to access which systems, granularly control what protocols can be used, if they are allowed to elevate privileges, and what commands they can execute as a privileged user. By proactively enforcing authorization policies and controlling elevation of privileges and commands, organizations will greatly reduce the risk of an insider security breach and solve key compliance issues.

CrossIdeas, through its IDEAS Identity Access Governance solution, gives organizations the ability to ensure users have the appropriate permissions required by their job: nothing more, nothing less. IDEAS bridges the gap between compliance policy and IT infrastructure, collecting fine-grain user access rights from across business applications, detecting access risks against a validated set of policies (such as Segregation of Duties policies) and supporting processes such as access certification and provisioning.

Organizations will then be able to import IDEAS' roles and access rights definitions into FoxT, where granular access policies are configured, and enforce proactively as access requests are being made. Managing the access control lifecycle in a holistic manner will give organizations greater visibility on the state of Compliance, as well as deeper real time control over access to critical systems.

"We are excited about our partnership with CrossIdeas because it gives organizations the ability to seamlessly combine identity access governance and enforcement processes," said Subhash Tantry, CEO at FoxT. "By bridging robust access policy definitions with real-time enforcement of granular access rules, organizations have a meaningful way to further address their security vulnerabilities, especially costly insider fraud, while simplifying audits."

"We see an increased need to enforce risk-aware access controls to business applications, closing the loop between Access Enforcement and Access Governance," says Alberto Ocello, President and CEO at CrossIdeas. "We are extremely pleased to partner with FoxT, as the joint solution allows organizations to seamlessy manage access risks on all types of users, including critical IT personnel, from a single pane of glass."
