FoxT Joins ArcSight Technology Partner Program

ArcSight and FoxT Partner to Deliver Enterprise Access, Threat, and Risk Management Solutions

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - September 20, 2010) -  ArcSight Protect '10 -- Fox Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of enterprise access management solutions, today announced that FoxT has joined the ArcSight (NASDAQ: ARST) Common Event Format (CEF) program and achieved CEF Certification for the FoxT Enterprise Access Management (EAM) software. The certification ensures compatibility of FoxT EAM events with the ArcSight Enterprise Threat and Risk Management (ETRM) Platform. This interoperability enables organizations to incorporate fine-grained user activity data into the ArcSight ETRM platform to enhance security, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

FoxT offers solutions for the Enterprise Access Management (EAM) market including the award-winning FoxT ServerControl and FoxT ApplicationControl solutions. Used by leading financial, telecommunications, manufacturing, utility, and healthcare organizations, FoxT EAM enables organizations to rapidly implement centralized administration, contextual authentication, granular authorization, and consolidated audit reports across their diverse server and business application environments. The ability to centrally control delegation for privileged users at the operating system level as well as the ability to control access rules, by role, down to the file level enables organizations to secure more of the IT stack and further simplify regulatory compliance.

"We are very excited about the partnership with ArcSight," reported Arun Gowda, Vice President of Business Development at FoxT. "The interoperability of our solutions will give organizations a complete enterprise-wide view of user activities by combining the detailed user access activity audit data generated by the FoxT solution with other network and application data. As well, organizations will be able to increase their level of security with consolidated and enhanced alerting on suspicious fine-grained user access activity through the ArcSight event correlation engine."

"FoxT and ArcSight are both focused on proactively protecting corporate data assets," said Jeff Scheel, senior vice president of Business Development at ArcSight. "Organizations who have come to rely upon the centralized enterprise access management capabilities provided by FoxT will now be able to further optimize enterprise risk and threat management through the ArcSight line of cybersecurity offerings."
