FoxT Will Leverage McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Software to Speed Deployment of Privileged Account Management

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 10, 2012) -  Fox Technologies (FoxT), Inc., a McAfee Security Innovation Alliance partner and leading provider of Enterprise Access Management solutions, today announced that its FoxT ServerControl product has achieved McAfee Compatible status with McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (McAfee ePO™) software.

FoxT ServerControl enables organizations to centrally administer, enforce, and audit privileged account management across diverse servers. By proactively enforcing authorization policies and eliminating the sharing of privileged accounts, organizations will greatly reduce the risk of insider fraud and solve key compliance issues. The new integration from FoxT enables organizations to leverage McAfee ePO software to speed deployment and automate inventory management of privileged account management across their diverse server infrastructure.

"Recent news on costly security breaches from insider fraud emphasizes the on-going challenge with keeping user access rights enforced and up-to-date," said Subhash Tantry, CEO at FoxT. "By leveraging the capabilities of McAfee ePO software, our customers can rapidly deploy and inventory the access controls they need to reduce the risk of a security breach while streamlining administration and audits."

McAfee ePO software enables enterprises to centrally manage security and compliance products from multiple vendors, offering unprecedented cost savings and return on investment. Specifically, FoxT ServerControl, using McAfee ePO software, enables organizations to rapidly deploy:

  • Centralized enforcement of privileged access policies across diverse servers including contextual multi-factor authentication and granular authorization
  • Automated provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts in conjunction with status changes in corporate directories and IDM systems
  • Automatically inventory which servers are covered by privileged access management
  • Consolidated user activity logs to speed audits and compliance reporting

"We are pleased to see FoxT achieve McAfee Compatible status for their access management solution," said Ed Barry, vice president of the Security Innovation Alliance, McAfee. "By proactively enforcing access policies and eliminating the sharing of privileged accounts, our joint solution helps reduce the risk of insider fraud, solve key compliance issues, and lower system administration costs."
