Franklin and Miramonte Mining in Discussions for Pulacayo Processing Plants

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - July 10, 2007) - Franklin Mining, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FMNJ) CEO, Jaime Melgarejo, Jr, has today announced that he is nearing final negotiations with Miramonte Mining AG. Located in Zurich, Switzerland, Miramonte ( is a small-cap gold mining company with active mining properties in Ecuador.

Franklin's discussions with Miramonte are for the construction of a flotation plant to process tailings at the Pulacayo Mine site. Miramonte engineers are scheduled to arrive in Potosi, Bolivia on July 24, 2007 for further discussions of engineering requirements and to tour Franklin's mining properties and work sites.

Following the June site visit, Mr. Melgarejo, Mr. William Petty and Miramonte executives will resume negotiations for construction of this plant. If built, Miramonte will utilize knowledge and experience gained in constructing flotation plants for their own mining operations in Ecuador, thus assuring that Franklin's plant will contain the latest available technology and benefit from Miramonte's recent construction experience.
