Franklin Bank Corporation [FBTX] CEO to Ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell

Anthony Nocella, CEO of Franklin Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: FBTX), will preside over the closing bell. He will be joined by Larry Chimerine, Director; Bob Perro, Director; Russell McCann, CFO; Glenn Mealey, EVP of Administration and M&A; Michael Davitt, EVP Commercial Lending; Virgil Haplea, SVP of Commercial Lending; Andrew Anderson, VP of Commercial Lending; and Kris Dillon, Investor Relations.

FBTX is celebrating its growth and the accomplishment of many milestones. Since Franklin's IPO a year and a half ago, the company has almost doubled in size. Franklin has grown from $2.3 billion to $4.3 billion in assets. Commercial loans have grown from $216 million at December 31, 2003, to $843 million at June 30, 2005. Franklin was recently named as having the fastest growing revenues in Houston. Franklin's net income has risen considerably from a loss of $288,000 for the quarter ended December 31, 2003 to $6.7 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Franklin has expanded its community banking offices from 13 to 31 and expects to have 38 community banking offices by the end of 2005. Franklin's employee base has increased to 635 from 399.
