Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How Does Ontario's Fiscal Performance Compare to the 'Rust Belt' States? New Study Coming Thursday, June 18

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 17, 2015) - On Thursday, June 18, the Fraser Institute will release a new study comparing Ontario's fiscal performance to that of the so-called Rust Belt states - Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois.

The study, Ontario vs. the U.S. "Rust Belt": Coping with a changing economic world, spotlights debt levels, GDP and private-sector employment growth between 1999 and 2013 amid a global shakeup of manufacturing.
