Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How much do Canadians pay in taxes compared to housing? New study coming Thursday, Aug. 24


VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - August 23, 2017) - On Thursday, Aug. 24, the Fraser Institute will release a new study on the taxes Canadians pay.

The Canadian Consumer Tax Index 2017 tracks the total tax bill of the average Canadian household from 1961 to 2016, and compares it to other expenses, including housing and food costs.
