TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 20, 2013) - The Fraser Institute will release a new study examining the costs of raising a child in Canada, on Thursday, August 22 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern).

The Cost of Raising Children reviews prevailing academic estimates of the cost of children as well as the popular estimates reported in Canadian media. The paper offers budget-based alternative estimates of how much Canadian parents should realistically expect to spend towards the healthy development of a child.
