Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How Much has Spending Increased for Salaries, Pensions and Benefits in Public Schools in Canada? New Study Coming Thursday, Sept. 10

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2015) - On Thursday, Sept. 10, the Fraser Institute will release a new study examining how increases in public education funding are being spent.

The study, Understanding the Increases in Education Spending in Public Schools in Canada, spotlights to what degree increased education spending over a 10-year period has gone towards compensation (salaries, benefits, pensions) as well as capital spending (new construction, renovations, etc.).
