The Fraser Institute: Media Advisory; New Report Comparing Health Canada Drug Approval Times to That of European, U.S. Agencies Coming Thursday, April 25

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - April 24, 2013) - The Fraser Institute will release a new report measuring the length of time it takes Health Canada to approve patented new medicines for public use, on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern).

Federal Delays in Approving New Medicines compares the speed of Health Canada to that of the European Medicines Agency and the United States Food and Drug Administration in certifying new prescription drugs as safe and effective from 2007 to 2011.
