The Fraser Institute/Media Advisory: New Report Examining State of Quebec's Debt and Deficits Coming Tuesday, March 11

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - March 10, 2014) - The Fraser Institute will release a new series of essays examining the extent of Quebec's government debt and deficits, Tuesday, March 11.

The essays look at Quebec's deficit and debt from three perspectives: the current state of indebtedness, a comparison of Quebec's debt to that of other provinces and U.S. state such as New York, and the future of Quebec's debt if current spending trends continue.

Combined, the three essays detail the extent of the problem facing Quebec and paint a cautionary tale of what could happen if the Quebec government delays taking action.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on Tuesday March 11 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern).

The study will also be available as a free PDF download at www.fraserinstitute.org.
