CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - October 24, 2016) - On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Fraser Institute will release a new study examining residential development and regulations in Alberta.

The study, New Homes and Red Tape in Alberta: Residential Land-Use Regulation in the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, compares 12 municipalities in the region based on permit approval times, rezoning delays, council and community opposition to development and the costs to comply with homebuilding regulations.
