Fraser Institute Media Advisory: New Study Spotlighting Total Tax Bill of Average Canadian Family Coming Tuesday, Aug. 23

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - August 22, 2016) - On Tuesday, Aug. 23, the Fraser Institute will release a new study spotlighting how much Canadians pay in taxes compared to the basic necessities of life.

The study, Canadian Consumer Tax Index 2016, tracks the total tax bill of the average Canadian household from 1961 to 2015, accounting for all visible and hidden taxes families pay to all levels of government in Canada.
