Fraser Institute Media Advisory: Report Ranking Fiscal Performance of Provincial Premiers Coming Thursday, Feb. 4

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 3, 2016) - On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Fraser Institute will release a new study ranking Canada's premiers on their fiscal performance.

The study, Measuring the Fiscal Performance of Canada's Premiers, 2016, ranks premiers based on three fiscal policy categories: government spending, taxes, and deficits and debt. Premiers who managed spending more prudently, balanced their books and paid down debt, and reduced or maintained competitive tax rates receive higher rankings.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired at 5:30 a.m. (Eastern) on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Spokespersons will be available in both Vancouver and Toronto.
