The Fraser Institute/Media Advisory: Study Comparing Government and Private-Sector Compensation in Quebec Coming Thursday, February 26

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 25, 2015) - The Fraser Institute will release a new study comparing government and private-sector compensation in Quebec on Thursday, February 26.

The study, Comparing Government and Private Sector Compensation in Quebec, calculates the "wage premium" (i.e., the degree to which public-sector wages exceed private-sector wages for similar positions) and compares four components of non-wage benefits: pensions, early retirement, job security and absences.
