Fraser Institute Media Advisory: What Effect Does Economic Freedom Have on Happiness? New Essay Coming Tuesday, July 28

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 27, 2015) - On Tuesday, July 28, the Fraser Institute will release a new essay exploring the relationship between a country's level of economic freedom and its population's level of life satisfaction (or happiness).

Economic freedom is based on the cornerstones of personal choice, trade openness, freedom to compete, security of private property and judicial independence.

The essay, Economic Freedom, Individual Perceptions of Life Control and Life Satisfaction, draws upon data collected from the World Values Survey, European Values Studies and the Fraser Institute's Economic Freedom of the World Annual Report.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on July 28 at 5:30 a.m. (EST).
