Fraser Institute Media Advisory: Which major Canadian city has the most red tape and highest homebuilding costs? New study coming Thursday, June 22

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - June 21, 2017) - On Thursday, June 22, the Fraser Institute will release a new study examining residential development and regulations in major cities across Canada.

The study, New Homes and Red Tape in Canada: Residential Land-Use Regulation in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec, compares major Canadian cities and their suburbs based on permit approval times and the costs to comply with homebuilding regulations.
