FRCH Design Worldwide Expands to the West Coast

Mark Levine Named as Vice President Managing Director

CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwired - Jul 21, 2015) - FRCH Design Worldwide, a leading global architecture and design firm, announced today it has expanded to the West Coast with the opening of a new office in Los Angeles. The announcement, which comes on the heels of the opening of their new, larger office space in New York City from first opening there two years ago, demonstrates their commitment to clients and strong expansion strategy. FRCH has more than doubled its workforce in recent years -- growing from 116 employees in 2010 to a current roster of over 225 employees today and looking to hire additional architects and designers in the upcoming year.

"At FRCH we foster a growth culture. We seek business to provide professional opportunities for our team and we encourage our staff to take on new personal challenges," says Jim Tippmann, chief executive officer and FRCH chief strategist. "With the best creative minds in the industry it all works together to create a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment."

The L.A. office better allows the company to serve West Coast based clients who span FRCH's six business units across various market sectors including Retail Mixed-Use, Retail, Hospitality, Food/Restaurant, and Entertainment among others. The office will serve as a growth catalyst in addition to an international strategy that includes Asia.

Leading these efforts on the West Coast for FRCH is Mark Levine, who has been hired as Managing Vice President. Levine, a registered architect licensed in eight states, brings 20 years of experience within his architecture practice. He has served clients who include JC Penney, Toyota, and numerous large-scale development projects. At his most recent position as a founder and lead architect of OSI Architects, a Los Angeles based architecture firm, Levine's role consisted of a balance between creative leadership and strategic business development.

"We are all very pleased to welcome Mark to our senior leadership team, and into our FRCH family," commented Jim Harkin, Senior Vice President and Principal of FRCH, "Mark brings a very creative and critical eye to the projects he's involved in. His treatment of architectural experience projects aligns perfectly with how we approach every client project, one that involves a holistic approach to highlight our work as architects and strategists."

Levine's role was created as a response to the growing market demand of retail and mixed-use projects in the Western United States. This aligns with multiple services (offered by FRCH) that encompass architecture, placemaking, graphic design, interior design and brand strategy.

Levine's strength in managing large-scale projects includes consultation on a variety of aspects; retail stores, retail facility rollout programs, ground-up commercial facilities, and construction management. FRCH's unique organizational structure and broad service offering differentiate them among their competitive set.

Levine stated, "The opportunity to help FRCH enhance their expertise and services on the West Coast, and beyond, is tremendous. I know our clients are thrilled to have the increased depth of resources and added creative diversity available to them. I couldn't be happier to join such a well respected firm and take on the responsibility of growing our presence in the profession and contributing even more to our industry."
