Fredric Cohen, M.D. Joins Fast Track Systems as Vice President, Clinical Strategy

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 19, 2007 -- Fast Track Systems, a pioneer developer of tools for clinical trial design collaboration and communication, has named pharmaceutical consultant Fredric Cohen, M.D. to the newly created position of Vice President, Clinical Strategy.

Dr. Cohen is a research-trained physician and a pharmaceutical industry veteran who has broad expertise in drug development gained from his prior employment at Eli Lilly and Company and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development. Since 2004, Dr. Cohen has served as president, Pharma Growth Strategies, LLC ("PGS"), a specialized management consultant to the life science industries, providing strategic and tactical support for new product development, licensing and marketing groups and their service providers. He will continue to lead PGS while at Fast Track Systems.

Fast Track's appointment of Dr. Cohen is in response to growing awareness of and interest in Fast Track System's TrialSpace Designer, a first-in-category suite of software tools that enables product development teams to design, assemble and communicate clinical trial protocols and related documents more quickly and with fewer revisions than standard processes allow.

Dr. Cohen will lead Fast Track's efforts to define and communicate the economic value of TrialSpace Designer to potential clients and will support clients as they deploy the application, so that they may quickly realize this value. "Fred has the kind of experience with clinical trials design and operations that our clients relate to and demand at this level. That experience, coupled with his broad knowledge of global R&D processes and information flows, makes Fred particularly well qualified to convey the benefits of the TrialSpace Designer suite to the end user. I'm looking forward to Fred's fresh perspective on what we're doing and to the energy and drive he brings with him," says Ed Seguine, CEO of Fast Track Systems.
