Free Community Service Event to Provide Flood Victims with Industry Information on Re-building Their Flood-Affected Homes

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Aug. 15, 2013) - Calgary Renomark™ Renovator Pinnacle Group, will be hosting a free community service event for flood victims on Saturday August 24th, 2013; providing a forum to ask Calgary's finest industry professionals specific questions, address concerns and gather general information on post-flood re-build solutions for their flood-affected homes.

This come and go open-house, vendor info-booth format will provide the opportunity to get sound advice from a variety of carefully selected industry experts. The intent is to connect consumers with professionals from many fields of expertise including architecture, design, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, engineering, clean air/mould remediation, exteriors as well as finance, to help with some of the tough decisions that lie ahead.

"This is not a seminar, it is simply a multitude of experts coming together to help those residents in Calgary and the surrounding area that were affected by the flood. Since the beginning of this disaster, we have proactively extended warnings to our Clients and the general public on scam alerts. We feel strongly about providing our honest advice as a contribution to the community," expresses Paul Klassen, CEO and Founder of Pinnacle Group.

Paul Klassen was one of the original Renovators involved in the launch of the Renomark™ association to the Calgary Region; this organization requires members to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and a Renovation - specific Code of Conduct, as well as provide warranties, understand the value of customer service before, during and after the Renovation, and keep up to date on information regarding current trends, the latest materials and new regulations.

Paul states, "Integral and honest business practices are at the center of our business culture; this is our #1 mandate and we work very hard to dispel the all too familiar negative expectations that unfortunately too many Consumers anticipate when undertaking a Renovation. Especially in such a time of tragedy, it is of the outmost importance that these Homeowners have a trustworthy and positive experience as they work to re-build their lives. We want to inform them on what best-practices they should expect from any contractors and trades they will be hiring to complete their re-build."

This free community service event will be held on Saturday August 24th, 2013 from 9am-12pm at the Kahanoff Conference Centre located at Suite 200, 105-12th Avenue SE Calgary, AB T2G 1A1.
