The casino company reported a surprise profit for the first quarter of 2013. Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) shares gained nearly 6.0 percent on more than double the average daily volume Thursday. The company reported net operating revenues for the fiscal second quarter totaled 3.0 billion, an increase of 15 percent when compared to the year ago quarter. According to FactSet, analysts had expected revenues of $2.85 billion.
