Raven Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAVN) shares declined over 8.0 percent on more than three times the average daily volume Monday. The industrial manufacturer reported a net income of $14.0 million, or $0.38 per diluted share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2014, compared to a net income of $19.0 million, or $0.52 per diluted share, in the year ago quarter.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) shares soared over 20 percent on volume of nearly 10.0 million shares traded Monday. Shares of Chinese solar companies were boosted Monday by strong quarterly results from JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd.
