If it snows more than 5 inches on New Years Day, thousands could get free trips! Canadian Online Travel Retailer hoping for snow.

Toronto/On, December/23/2008/- itravel2000, Canada's largest online travel retailer is hoping the weather networks forecast for more snow after Christmas becomes a reality.

Last year, qualifying participants across Canada excitedly watched weather reports hoping that the massive winter storms would deliver over 5 inches of snow and free vacations. With Ontario and Atlantic Canada coming close, Quebecers got their vacations for free when it snowed more than 5 inches at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport.

"The pre-Christmas snow storms and the extended forecast likely have WeatherBil, the promotion's underwriter, nervous. For itravel2000, we just want lots of snow and lots of ecstatic customers," says Jonathan Carroll, President," says Jonathan Carroll, President, itravel2000. "The excitement is building and we're really hoping we get to write a lot of cheques."

Canadian consumers who booked their qualifying vacation with itravel2000 can get their trip for free if more than 5 inches of snow falls at their weather station on New Years Day. The weather stations are Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax. Every qualifying customer's weather station is identified on their invoice. If it snows more than 5 inches, consumers will be reimbursed for the retail price of their package vacation, flight or hotel upon their return. To be eligible, Canadians booked their qualifying package vacations, hotel, cruise or flight by midnight November 2nd, 2008 for departures up to April 30, 2009.

The 'Let it Snow' program is covered by WeatherBill, the world's only online weather risk management service that allows business to protect revenues from the effects of bad weather. itravel2000 has taken out the largest single-day weather coverage in history.
