Fresno State Extends 32-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Implements Paciolan's CRM and Ticketing Intelligence Platforms, and Continues to Leverage Ticketing and Fundraising Solutions to Provide Exceptional Fan and Donor Experiences

IRVINE, CA and FRESNO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions in college athletics, today announced that California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) has renewed its partnership with the company. Fresno State will continue to leverage Paciolan's industry-leading ticketing and fundraising solutions, and in conjunction with the renewal the university has upgraded Paciolan's Access Management system and implemented the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Ticketing Intelligence platforms. Fresno State has been a Paciolan partner since 1982. Paciolan is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.

"We truly believe that our partnership with Paciolan is extremely valuable and we are excited to extend our long-term relationship," said Paul Ladwig, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations at Fresno State. "We believe in Paciolan, and they have always been there to help us achieve our goals. Our relationship with Paciolan gives us the ability to continually make the fan experience better, easier and simpler."

Fresno State will continue to leverage Paciolan's eVenue online ticketing solution that enables the university to efficiently sell tickets and process donations in real-time at GoBulldogs.com. Through the online box office, Fresno State offers fans and donors the ability to purchase and renew tickets, donate to the Bulldog Foundation, select tickets via interactive pick your own seat maps and manage accounts online via a user-friendly interface.

With the renewed partnership, Fresno State upgraded Paciolan's Access Management technology to provide an exceptional fan experience and keep up with growing technology that will provide fans and students with mobile ticketing and delivery. The university will begin scanning mobile tickets during the 2014-15 athletic year where fans will be able to bypass will call lines and enter the venue upon arrival with 2D barcoded tickets on their mobile devices.

"For the first time our fans will be able to show their mobile devices and we'll be able to scan tickets on their devices, and we can become paperless at our venues and do the things that fans expect in today's marketplace," added Ladwig. "With the help of Paciolan's technology and expertise, we're once again able to create a better fan experience for the folks at Fresno State."

In addition to upgrading Paciolan's Access Management solution with the partnership renewal, Fresno State also implemented the company's CRM technology. Paciolan CRM helps better manage customer relationships and provide staff with a 360-degree view of their fans, donors and season ticket holders, and Fresno State integrated the solution be able to know who their fans are, where they're at in the ticket and giving processes, and have the ability to have all of the information to very quickly serve customers on a daily basis.

"Everything we do centers around the fan experience and our customers. We work with Paciolan to provide the best customer service possible, and through CRM we're able to utilize a very useful tool that gives us the ability to improve each interaction with our fans and donors," added Ladwig.

Additionally, Fresno State also implemented Paciolan's Ticketing Intelligence data warehouse solution that will provide executive staff with sophisticated data analysis to make crucial business decisions to move the athletic department forward. The system allows Fresno State to better analyze sales, customer and donor data, compare ticket sales and fund development across seasons, and adapt programs to maximize revenues.

"Ticketing Intelligence enables us to take a look at a wide-range of analytics parameters that allow us to make decisions based on facts. If you don't have critical data you can't make critical decisions. You have to have the tools that give you the analytics you need to move your product forward through business-based and fan service-based decisions," added Ladwig.

"We are thrilled to extend our long-term partnership with Fresno State and help them provide exceptional fan and donor experiences," said Dave Butler, Chief Executive Officer of Paciolan. "Paciolan is committed to creating and building long-term relationships that enable our partners to leverage solutions and technology to build lasting relationships with their fans, donors and customers."
