Friday Night Futbol on Azteca America Out-Delivers Key Programming on Telemundo, UniMas, MundoFOX and Estrella TV With Men 18-49 and Ranks #1 in Major U.S. Hispanic Markets

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 12, 2014) - Friday Night Fútbol on Azteca America delivered a powerful performance with the Queretaro vs. Monarcas matchup followed by Santos vs. Pachuca. The Santos matchup, which was the second highest rated game on Azteca America this season, outperformed all programming on UniMás, Estrella TV & MundoFOX with persons 18-49 demo. Additionally, the game outperformed Reina de Corazones and Los Miserables on Telemundo with men 18-49.

Collectively the two games averaged 236,000 adult 18-49 impressions. Santos vs. Pachuca delivered exceptionally high viewership, delivering an average audience of 495,000 persons 2+ and 323,000 adults 18-49.

Locally both games delivered winning performances in key Hispanic markets. Queretaro vs. Monarcas was #1 regardless of language on KAZA in Los Angeles with men 25-54. The game also ranked #1 in Spanish-language TV with men 18-34 in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Santos vs. Pachuca turned up the heat, delivering the highest numbers this season in Los Angeles with persons 18-49 and landing #1 regardless of language with men 18-34 and men 25-54. The game also ranked #1 in Spanish-language TV with persons 18-49 in Chicago and San Francisco.

As the playoffs approach, the excitement heats up on Azteca America! In addition to the currently scheduled regular season games, Azteca America will be broadcasting a Queretaro vs. Santos friendly match live from the fourth largest US Hispanic market, Houston, TX. The game airs Sunday, November 16th at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST.
